Environment management
We will meet or exceed all applicable government requirements and voluntary requirements to which UltraChip subscribes. Strictly request all suppliers must follow Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) on 27 January 2003 and to be implemented on 1 July 2006. Complementary to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2002/96/EC). UltraChip guarantees all its products produced from Q1, 2005 onwards to meet the requirement, well ahead of EU's schedule.
Packaging management
For product packaging, we will conserve natural resources by reusing and recycling materials, purchasing recycled materials, and using recyclable packaging and other materials.
Supply chain management
UltraChip continually researches and develops green products to minimize the environmental impact. For ensuring the certain harmful substances not containing in our products, we have established the management system to control all the procedures including product purchase, and producing etc. UltraChip also requests suppliers must follow UltraChip's rules and signature of non-use the harmful substances for green product. Suppliers must obey or exceed all applicable government requirements and voluntary requirements to which UltraChip subscribes for either restricting or prohibiting certain harmful substances as constituents of materials and products purchased, that conform to the demand by Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2002/96/EC)
