The IC and LCD display industry that UltraChip competes in is one of the mainstream and fastest-growing industries in the 21st century. With the continuing introduction of leading next-generation products and technology, UltraChip has experienced an exponential growth in the few short years since its establishment.

In 2003, competing against the R&D prowess of international companies, UltraChip launched a color STN_LCD IC Driver which became the main income stream in that year. The annual gross revenue exceeds USD$22 million, a 734% growth compared to the year before. The Taiwan Business Weekly magazine listed UltraChip as the 5th highest revenue growth rate in the private company (not listed) category. The net profit in 2003 was USD$3.25 million with the EPS of USD$0.06.

2004 sees UltraChip actively developing color VSTN IC Driver and related products to cater to the market demand of higher grey scale and less response time. The same year also realizes an exponential growth in revenue. Between January and August, revenue had a 424.12% growth compared to the same period in the previous year. The EPS in the first half of 2003 was as high as USD$0.09 while extraordinary performance in the second half of the year is expected.
